The new branch of the first Chinese restaurant in the UK to be given a Michelin star, Hakkasan opened in Mayfair just before Christmas and with their Mumbai outpost soon to open its door early this year.
The verdict: despite its location, the atmosphere and service in the restaurant feels more like a high street imitation of the real thing. both restaurants, however, carry the same menu. so why not stick to the original!
