Today I was invited to attend the development presentation of what will be Tim Rice's first musical in over a decade. Based on James Jones' celebrated novel, "From Here to Eternity" is probably better known from its star-studded Hollywood adaptation. We heard some very catchy & moving tunes executed by a pretty strong cast which unexpectedly made quite an impact on a non-musical enthusiast like me. If all goes well, it might make West End debut as soon as next autumn, otherwise spring 2013 for sure, I was told.
