Tie or no-Tie

I love bow-ties & with every occasion I see "black tie" as a dress code printed at the bottom of the invite that urges me to go through my personal collection (a fraction of which you can see above & half of them have never been worn). The only problem is, being a young-ish looking person at such event one is frequently mistaken for a staff!! Often there's one person too many who comes over to ask me direction to the ladies or whether I could fetch them another drink, and that is when my sense of humour runs dry. As a result I usually opt for a less traditional way to wear a tux. Nonetheless, when the next chance arises I can't help but find myself going through the same dilemma all over again!
