Lufthansa is lagging behind other airlines big time when it comes to concepts of comfort & privacy in the air. Just look at their newly introduced First Class suite. Welcome to the 1980s!
No privacy, sleeping in public, just like poor people sleeping in the street. Lufthansa First Class (Classe , Klase)takes a big step backwards. No privacy curtains, only a duvet? Seems like an invitation for some other (side) action. The new Lufthansa 747 First Class could become shag - a - delic central.
This is fantastic. I've flown many times First class, but this must be the first one which has a REAL bed! Not a seat which folds down to a bed, it's fixed. Sleep in a bed, eat/work from a chair, I'm sorry, but this is what I do every day in my life!
Privacy up there? Just 8 seats in the bubble of the 747.
The best first class concept ever. Instead of being boxed in a "suite" like at SQ or Emirates you can eat/work/relax in a comfortable seat and then sleep in a very cozy "real" bed close to the window. I enjoyed the concept earlier this year from Capetown to Frankfurt and there were just two other passengers on the upper deck, which has a capacity of only 8 ! Fabulous !!
