Overrated

Sake No Hana

The verdict: It's been a few years since I last dined at this Alan Yau's high-end Japanese enterprise. For the mere fact that it's still standing, at its grand location, I assumed they must have done something right. The tatami and private dinning room concept had now gone since the refurbishment in 2010. The atmosphere is still pleasant if no longer unique, the service is charming without much efficiency. When it comes to what really counts, the food, I'm still far from impressed this time round.
